Hey, I'm Cibonay (Si-bou-ney), Ph.D.
User Experience Designer & Researcher · Educator · Coach
I lead with empathy and build with intention. With over a decade of experience in UX/UI, web design, graphic design, higher education, and coaching. I work at the intersection of design, education, and transformation. I help individuals and organizations bring clarity to complexity by creating systems that don’t just work, but feel right.
My work is rooted in human-centered research, ethical design, and intentional aesthetics, my work is guided by something deeper. My Ph.D. in Communication shapes how I think, teach, and guide others through layered systems, whether those systems are digital platforms or inner landscapes.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: every meaningful system starts with deep listening.
How I'm Wired
I'm an INFJ-A (Advocate) and a 3/6 Generator in Human Design. In simple terms, I'm someone who creates meaningful, emotionally grounded systems by blending insight, real-life experience, and creativity.

My Journey: Creative Meets Conscious
My path hasn’t been linear, and that’s what makes it meaningful.
I began in graphic and web design, moved into UX/UI and research, and later expanded into teaching and coaching. Each step deepened my understanding of how people think, grow, and move through complex systems, teaching me to design with people, not just for them.
Outside of work, I find joy in nature, travel, photography, and hands-on creativity like arts and crafts. These practices keep me grounded in presence, play, and curiosity, all of which fuel my work.
As I’ve grown personally and professionally, I’ve developed a strong intuition that helps me spot patterns, sense misalignment, and design with clarity and care.
